Essentials of Our Faith

We are a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. We are a member of the Presbytery of the Central Carolinas, a fellowship of mission-driven churches committed to local and global transformation through church planting and disciple-making.

"In Essentials, Unity. In Non-Essentials, Liberty. In All Things, Charity; Truth In Love."

Pastor Jon Mikule

Jon Mikule became the pastor of Banks Church in July of 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, OH but grew up in Brooksville, FL. Since moving to North Carolina in 2014, Jon has served as a youth pastor and then a solo pastor in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He holds a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL.

Married to Kayla, Jon enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading, board games, and investing in meaningful relationships within the community. Together, they are proud parents to three children: Bradley (8), Romie (5), and Ellie (6mo).

As Pastor at Banks Church, Jon is committed to equipping the church to grow in faith, live out their purpose, and share the Gospel with the world. He invites you to join Banks on this journey of worship, growth, and impact.

Elders

Elders share authority with the Pastor, representing the mind of Christ as they understand it in the various courts of the church, watch over the spiritual welfare of the people, and may be appointed to participate in Presbytery or General Assembly because the EPC is a connectional church. Collectively, the Ruling Elders are called the Session
